Yamaha introduces the 2013 Inprex X Z Cavity Iron.  It is an iron set made with the average player in mind.  It has been redesigned since the previous model for added forgiveness and distannce, to make the game more enjoyable for players of all levels.  It features a 3 piece construction head with a slightly larger size than the previous model.  The face is made of high strentth maraging steel for a very strong energy transfer and a exceptional distance. The grooves on the face has also been moved 1mm closer together to promote great friction at impact to achieve a good amount of spin for soft landing.  The sole of the club is made slightly wider and rounder than the previous model to add forgiveness fom variuous situations.  Within the sole, there is a tungsten weight that helps keep a very low center of gravity for an easy high launch.  The tungsten sole weight has been increased to 4 times the weight than the prevous model (30grams for 7i) to make this the lowest CG Z Cavity ever produced.
The combination of the wide hitting area and newly remodeled features makes this one of Yamaha's most forgiving irons to date.  The lofts have been made stronger to allow for greater distance increase, while the very low CG helps keep its high and strong trajectory.  The full and deep cavity back design allows the head to absorb vibrations at impact allowing the head to produce a consistent feel.
It comes standard with an original carbon shaft in R or S/R flex.  This original carbon shaft is made with a mid kick point for and light weight.  It has a C8 or D0 swing weigtht to make it very easy to control for golfers of all strengths.

Fourteen introduces the 2013 FH1000 Forged Irons.  It is a s25c Forged Iron made to satisfy the needs of the better players seeking enhanced feel and playability.  It is made with a clean and simple design that produces a strong trajectory and spin control.  The FH stands for "Future Heritage" design.  It stands for the traditional muscle back looks it has that is matched with the technology of the future.
It features a Reverse Muscle Back design where the thickness of the top line of the iron is made thicker than the center area.  This unique design allows the center of gravity to stay more centered to produce a very strong and penetrating trajectory with every shot.  It also allows for added stability high and low on the face.  The clubhead is made with a precisely measured out measurements that place the center of gravity directly in the center of the face.  This goes through the entire set giving it a very consistent appearance and performance with each iron.
It has a thin top line with a minimal offset design that can easyily be worked in both directions.  The head size is compact enough to produce easy control, yet large enough to have some room for error.
It is considered Fourteen's "Tour Model" and is used by the staff tour professionals.

Maruman introduces the 2013 Conductor Pro-X Forged Muscle Back Irons.  It is a muscle back type iron targeting the better players wanting the ultimate in feel and control.  The Conductor Pro-X Muscle Back features a traditional shape with a clean and simple design.  It is forged from s25c steel to provide a soft and consistent feedback in every shot.  It features a CNC milled face to promote a very pure and consistent spin control across the face.  This allows the player to better control the trajectory and side spin on the ball, making it easier to work in both directions.  The back of the head is also milled to produce a sharp look with precise weighting.  The head features minimal offset and a thin top line that is very easy to align and a preferred appearance by the better players.  The head is a compact design and has a narrow sole design.  It is made to produce a crisp and solid flow through the turf at impact.
The Pro-X Muscle back is designed to be easily made into a combination with the Pro-X Cavity back irons.  The specs are matched up to ensure a very smooth transition throughout the set, even when the two type of clubs are mixed to make your unique set.
It comes standard with an NS PRO 950GH steel shaft in Stiff or Regular flex.

Romaro Sports is a premium boutique golf brand in Japan which prides itself in designing and manufacturing premium quality golf clubs for the better and more demanding player.  However, this year they have released the Type R line of clubs which are made to meet the high demand for more forgiving clubs from the average players.
The Romaro Ray V has been a great hit among a wide range of players.  The newly relased Ray V Type R has a few tweaks to add some forgiveness while keeping the original playability.  The Type R is still forged from S20C steel for the soft and consistent feel in every shot.  Like the original Ray V, the Ray V Type R features not only an undercut cavity but also a TPU or Thermoplastic Urethane insert behind the face which helps dampen vibrations and control impact sound.
One of the first noticeble change is the sharper overall look of the head and the straighter top line for easy alignment.  The size has been made slightly larger than its previous model, but is still a compact enough size that can be appreciated by players of all levels. It has a increased MOI which minimizes distance loss on off center shots.  It has a V cut sole which is made to reduce friction upon contact with the truf to help stabolize the impact position.  The new model also features slightly stronger lofts throughout the set to maximize distance for the average players.  It also has a slightly increased "goose neck" design which helps the clubface square up at impact to promote a straight to slightly drawing flight.
The standard Ray V set is 5-PW and sold as heads only.

The iD BL (Blade) Forged is a premium S20C Endo forged compact cavity made for the better and pro player.  It features a s20c soft forged head for a very soft and consistent feel. The iD BL focuses on feel and control with their thin top line and sole along with minimal offset.  The sharp lines frame the ball well at address and promotes a very square alignment.  The iD BL has a slightly thicker design center area of the face to reward those well struck shots with a pure feel that is second to none.
The slight cavity on the back of the head becomes thinner as the clubs get shorter.  This addes a bit of forgiveness for the longer irons while it promotes a crisp shot with maximum spin control on the shorter clubs.  The height of the CG is consistent throughout the set and the short gravity angle makes the head very workable in both directions.
